Worried about your watercolour? Daunted by drawing? Perplexed by painting? Don't struggle at home trying to figure out basic issues to do with these techniques when 2 or 3 sessions with a friendly  experienced art teacher could help to set you on the right path  I've had 24 years worth of experience teaching beginner-intermediate level adults in a variety of different techniques and materials.  I will run these classes again but while this is not as easy as before I am now also teaching online
Each session lasts an hour and will be based around a demonstration of a different material or technique. As the lessons progress there will also be friendly critiques of the previous weeks homework which can either be done during the class or via email.
I believe that art is a subject that has something for everyone whether you want to learn how to draw or paint what's in front of you or enjoy it as a relaxing and mindful activity in its own right.  I have 2 cameras, a face to face one for talking and an overhead one for demos. You'll also get a chance to learn a bit of art history as well, and plenty of chances to ask questions as the groups will be limited to 5 students
You'll need to provide your own materials but don't worry about spending lots of money to start off with. If you can lay your hands on a pencil, eraser, paper and pencil sharpener you are good to go.
Over the years I've taught a lot of interested beginners who worry if art is something that they can really learn.  In my experience most people never really learn any art techniques when they are young so when they say that they are no good at art the truth is they've never really been taught!
